ABOUT
TuzChat is basically what I wished existed when I got tired of the big platforms — a free, X/Twitter-style app where you post, follow people, join communities, and DM each other, but without the ads, the tracking, or the feeling that nobody's actually looking out for users. The thing I built it around is communities that can be truly private and invite-only — so smaller groups can actually talk safely instead of being exposed to the whole internet. I also built real moderation into it from day one (automatic abuse/hate-speech detection, easy reporting, actual admin tools), not as an afterthought. And the feed pulls in real news headlines automatically — right now in English, Turkish, and Arabic — so people see what's happening in the world without bouncing to another app. It's just me, self-funded, no investors, building it based on what actual users tell me they need. It's free right now; I'll look at a premium or ad-supported model later once there's a real user base to support it. tuzchat.com
